Before i start typing stuff up, (will add to this with timestamps as i watch along), to avoid seemingly like a negetive nancy about the run a few disclaimers: 1. I'm fully aware Aggy is having to deal with chat and for that matter the pressure of the moment, i'm in no way saying i would have thought of anything i criticize him for in the moment myself, i might, i might not, no idea. Any negetive comments are just me venting frustration in the moment. 2. Yes i know this is an old vid, i'm going through the playlist ok, let me have my fun please. 3. Aggy is a way better player than me, i might be able to criticise his strategy, but i could never execute a tenth of what he does. The Colossal weapon square had me so frustrated, he literally spent 5 extra minutes, (i checked time codes on the video) going for the grafted greatwsword over the zweihander, if he'd grabbed the zweihander there he'd be 30 seconds ahead of chris getting his Caleid Greatsword, (i wondered what chris did so i dug up his VOD to check), which is about how long Chris spent in the Margit fight after Aggy got the parry square. And thats despite Aggy going to roundtable and stopping to grab Bloodhound Fang. The Zweihander is way faster to get than the Caleid sword, (i admit i was surprised by this). 35:00 yeah, i don't think you could have got that. Honestly not sure which way i would have gone strategy wise after the CK loss. The apostle was just bad, going into that in a state where you can be one shot is just never going to be consistent. I get why you went for it but it really feels like it was a low odds square for you to complete then.And honestly without checking the rest of Chris's VOD i'm not sure he would have gone for it at that point in time. he'd just got faith 30. That means he's super low on Vigour, and my impression is he tries to avoid squares where RNG cna screw him like it did you. he clearly avoided it during the time you initially went for it. 53:00 you've fought this guy how many times and your just now noticing BHF kind does poorly against him? 1:05:00 The extra health made all the difference here. Also probably this dual square really put you back in the game. Ni idea who will actually win yet, but your not completely boned here. 1:10:00 Yeah the get to altus part began to worry me a good 20 minutes before this. With the benefit of hindsight i'd have worked on that to get some runes for the Apostle. 1:26:00 Just because he's had Altus Access longer doesn't mean hes killed the Draconic Tree Sentinel yet. I'm gonna watch the rest of his VOD after this but from what i've observed elsewhere, everyone only seems to go to that when they're ready to go into the capital, so its far more about where you think he is at the point your considering going for it. 1:39:20 yeah, i'd agree, pick too related ones, like the capital ones and go for them, if your opponent is on the same strat you'll see if they're ahead and can switch to Gargs+Fia and either way they never stop you. 1:43:35 Honestly it's up there as one of the worst boss fights in the entire game IMO. they're just so unbelievably annoying to fight. Bullshit mechanics in the poison, layered on a duo gank fight layered onto janky gargoyle type enemy hit boxes. If you could lock the legs like yu cna Golems they'd be significantly less aggravating to fight. And GG's. Yeha the Leonine play and the Godskin when you did both majorly screwed you, you wasted about 12 minutes between the two of them in the early parts of the run and that completely let chris clean up too many easy squares. Now to watch chris's view.
